Biwa pearls were originally farmed only in Lake Biwa in Japan. That practice has long been gone because of the pollution in the lake. But that style of pearl continues to be created, and it really is quite unique in its shape and colour.
This lovely necklace can be worn sitting just at the base of the throat or slightly lower, and is a totally unique addition to the 'Designed for Layering' range. The colour of the pearl is so delicate that it can go with any of the other necklaces in the range, even those that have coloured gemstones, although my personal preference is to wear it with a silver necklaces.

Length - It comes as a 15 inch necklace with a 2 inch extender.

Quality: Each item is made of sterling silver, but may not be hallmarked because its weight is less than that for hallmarking requirements. Any item that is above hallmarking weight will be hallmarked with the unique hallmark for Halo Jewellery UK.
Guarantee: Each item sold is guaranteed for two years from the date of purchase as long as you can produce a receipt. Just send it back to me by post, payable by the customer, and I will repair or replace the damaged item for free.
Lifetime repair service: If the item is more than two years old, or you cannot produce a receipt, I can repair the item for a charge, which will vary depending upon what needs to be done to the item. Once I have repaired the item, it falls under the guarantee.
Note that "lifetime" means for the lifetime of the business i.e. as long as this business is running.
